AI agent development

An AI agent development company for systems with no API

AI Newtika designs and builds custom AI agents that operate the software you already run — logging in, extracting, reconciling and acting, with an audit trail behind every step. We work worldwide, in every timezone, and deploy on your hardware, in your cloud, or fully air-gapped.

01What custom AI agent development means here

Most AI work stops at answering questions. Custom AI agent development is the part that comes after: building software that can operate other software on your behalf, reliably enough to run unattended, and transparently enough that you can prove what it did afterwards.

A build with us produces an agent that authenticates into the systems you name, navigates them the way a trained member of staff would, extracts and normalises what it finds, reconciles it against your system of record, and either completes the action or escalates it to a named human with the evidence attached.

  • Built for your workflow, not configured from a template — the scope comes out of discovery against your real systems
  • Deployed where your data must stay — your hardware, your cloud tenant in-region, or air-gapped with no route out
  • Auditable by design — every run is logged, replayable and reversible, with a dry-run mode that performs no writes
  • Yours at the end — full source handover on delivery, no per-seat licences and no lock-in

02Why "no API" is the whole business

Almost every automation vendor assumes an interface exists. In practice the systems that consume the most human time are the ones that never shipped one: a payer portal, a carrier website, a mainframe screen, a government filing system, a vendor tool whose maker has no commercial reason to open it.

Our position is simple. If a human can do it in a browser or a terminal, an agent can do it — at volume, with an audit trail. That means we treat the systems you already run as the integration surface rather than waiting for an API that is never going to ship. Where an integration has no API, discovery includes capturing and analysing the real network traffic to establish what is genuinely possible before anyone commits to a build.

03How an engagement runs

Discovery

We map the systems, the data, the people and the failure modes. You receive an architecture document, an integration feasibility report and a fixed-price build quote — and if the honest answer is that an agent is the wrong tool, you get that instead.

Build

Model selection, tool design, pipelines and orchestration, worked in short increments against your real systems in a sandbox rather than a mock. Weekly demo, source access from day one.

Validate

Benchmarking against a labelled evaluation set, adversarial testing, failure injection, and a dry-run period against production data with every write suppressed.

Deploy and hand over

Deployment into your environment, monitoring wired to your on-call, full source and runbooks, and a handover session with the people who will own it after us.

04What AI agent development costs

Indicative bands so you can qualify us before booking a call. Final scope is fixed after discovery, and the build itself is quoted at a firm price.

05Delivered worldwide

We are remote-first across every timezone, with overlapping coverage through APAC, EMEA and the Americas and handover notes at every shift boundary, so you never re-explain the problem. Agents are deployed into the region your regulator requires — in-country cloud, your own datacentre, or entirely offline.

We design towards the frameworks that apply where you operate — GDPR and UK GDPR, the DPDP Act, HIPAA technical safeguards, SOC 2 alignment, PDPL, POPIA, LGPD and the rest. Those are design targets rather than certifications, and anything requiring a signature is reviewed with counsel before we agree to it.

06Common questions

What is an AI agent, and how is it different from a chatbot?
A chatbot answers questions. An agent does the work: it authenticates into a system, navigates it, extracts what it needs, reconciles that against another system and takes an action — then writes down what it did. The useful distinction is not how clever the model is, it is whether the thing can operate software on your behalf and leave an audit trail behind it.
Can you automate a system that has no API?
Yes. That is the core of what we do. If a human can complete the task in a browser or a terminal, an agent can complete it too — at volume, with a trace of every step. During discovery we capture and analyse the real network traffic of the system in question to establish exactly what is possible before anyone commits to a build.
How much does custom AI agent development cost?
Indicative bands, before scope is fixed: roughly $3k–$8k for a single local or edge agent, $10k–$30k for a cloud-native multi-agent build, $40k–$180k for an enterprise estate with SSO, audit and an SLA, and $120k upwards for air-gapped government or defence work. Final scope and a firm price are set after discovery, not before.
How long does an AI agent take to build?
Typically 2–4 weeks for a local or edge agent, 4–8 weeks for a cloud-native build, 8–16 weeks for an enterprise deployment, and 12–24 weeks plus clearance time for government work. You get a working agent in staging and a weekly demo throughout, rather than a status email.
Can an agent run on our own hardware, or fully air-gapped?
Yes. Agents can run on your own hardware, inside your cloud tenant in the region your regulator requires, or entirely air-gapped with open-weight models and no outbound network calls at all. Air-gapped deployment is a normal delivery mode for us, not an exception.
Who owns the code you write?
You do. Full source handover on delivery, with runbooks. No per-seat licences, no lock-in, no black boxes. Source escrow is available where a client requires it, and ownership terms are set out in the engagement agreement rather than assumed.
What happens when the portal or system changes?
Interfaces change without notice, so agents are built to detect structural change and raise an alert rather than fail silently. Silent failure is the worst outcome in this kind of automation: the dashboard stays green while the data quietly goes stale.
Can we hire AI agent developers from you?
We work as a delivery team rather than a staffing agency. You engage AI Newtika for a defined build, and our AI agent developers deliver it end to end — discovery, build, validation, deployment and handover — with full source and runbooks at the end. We do not place developers into your team on a time-and-materials basis. If staff augmentation is what you actually need, we will tell you that rather than reshape the engagement to fit.
Is this the same as RPA?
No. RPA replays a fixed script against fixed screen coordinates and breaks the moment a layout shifts. An agent interprets the interface it is looking at, adapts, and can explain what it did. Every run is logged, replayable and reversible, and a dry-run mode performs no writes at all.
