01The systems in the way

Court e-filing systems are web-only and vary by jurisdiction. The document management system has no usable interface. Contracts are PDFs. Keeping on top of a docket means somebody checking portals on a schedule and reading what appears — reliably, every day, without exception.

02Why the usual approaches stall

Docket alert services cover the major jurisdictions and miss the local ones. Summarisation tools work on documents you have already collected, which leaves the collection — the actual manual labour — untouched.

If a human can do it in a browser or a terminal, an agent can do it — at volume, with an audit trail. That is the whole basis of how we approach legal: we treat the systems you already run as the integration surface, rather than waiting for an API that is never going to ship.

03What an agent actually does here

This is a reference design drawn from the problems we are asked about most often in legal — not a case study of delivered client work. Where we have shipped a build, we say so plainly and put you in touch with the client.

• Privileged material can be kept entirely on your infrastructure
• Every summary links to the filing it came from, with no paraphrase of the operative wording
• Access only to systems and jurisdictions you are authorised to monitor
